Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team in north Scottsdale, AZ. This position involves managing complex payroll processes for multiple locations, handling payroll for approximately 2,000 employees. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating various moving pieces within payroll operations and will be able to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for approximately 2,000 employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain organization within complex payroll processes and manage various components effectively.
• Utilize ADP systems to execute payroll functions; experience with ADP is preferred.
• Leverage heavy Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze data and generate reports.
• Create and run detailed reports to support payroll operations and assist in decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all payroll activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a payroll processing role, handling complex payroll systems.
• Proficiency in ADP systems is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, are required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to create, run, and interpret reports to support payroll functions.

Required Work Hours

This is a 100% in-office position located in north Scottsdale, AZ. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive pay range of $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Additional Details

Max Pay is $28. Min Pay is $25.
